Maryam Yazdi

I am a Research Fellow and Biostatistician at the Leicester Diabetes Centre. I joined the team in December 2024 after working for six years as an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences where I taught statistical methods and collaborated on multidisciplinary research projects. I contribute to the design and analysis of clinical trials, observational studies, and secondary data analyses. My methodological interests include Bayesian methods, adaptive trial designs, meta-analysis, and latent variable models, with a focus on applying these approaches to complex health data.
